These days everyone has a podcast. Including Wolverine.

Marvel Entertainment just announced a deal to create exclusive podcasts for satellite radio Sirius XM and its Pandora streaming subsidiary. The deal includes scripted and unscripted series (including a history of the comic book company, interview shows and discussion on popular Marvel franchises), live events and more, all premiering in 2020. Among the scripted series include ten-episode arcs for the characters Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Star-Lord, along with a team-up series.

The Marvel agreement marks Sirius XM’s first major foray into original content. The content will be available across all of SiriusXM’s streaming platforms and on Pandora’s free (ad-supported) and Premium subscription services.

“Powerful stories are read, seen, and heard—and we believe audio is the next natural step to bring the Marvel Universe to fans around the world,” said Dan Buckley, President of Marvel Entertainment, in a statement.

Partnering with Marvel on any level seems like a no-brainer: Outside of tepid returns from a few Netflix series (no offense, Daredevil), the comic book company has dominated the box office for the past decade and expects to be a major player on the new Disney+ streaming platform. And there’s a growing hunger for podcasts — U.S. ad revenue from the format climbed 53% last year and an estimated 90 million people are monthly podcast listeners.
