When season 10 of the popular video game Fortnite came to a close on Sunday night (Oct. 14) with a live event dubbed “The End,” its whole universe was sucked into a black hole, wiping out the entire game.

The game also wiped its Twitter account, deleting all its tweets except for one that features a livestream of the black hole. The Fortnite Instagram is also full of mysterious black photos. Parent company Epic Games has yet to issue any kind of statement about the blackout, leaving fans to speculate when season 11 will start and the game will be back up and running.

Fortnite star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, dropped a clue on Twitter on Sunday night, and as Polygon points out, one theory is that he’s referencing “Taco Tuesday,” meaning the game will be back on Tuesday.

Esports and gaming consultant Rod Breslau also pointed out that the blackout stunt has made history. On Sunday, he tweeted, “Fortnite’s ‘The End’ event will go down as the most watched gaming event in history for western audiences. 4.5M+ on YouTube 1.5M+ on Twitch 1M+ on Twitter and 37 people on Mixer. Just incredible.”

The survivalist game was launched by Epic Games back in 2017, and it currently boasts 250 million total registered users. There’s still no official word on when it will come back for its next chapter.
