It’s no surprise that a luxury villa near Sicily owned and furnished by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana is a looker.

The real surprise that it’s kind of a bargain at $6.5 million.

The namesakes behind the luxury Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana are currently selling their villa on the slopes of the Stromboli volcano.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s extraordinary villa in the untouched Island of Stromboli, Sicily, is on sale. The property follows the coastline like a wave stretching on the spur of a rock dropping sheer down to the sea. This estate was born from the perfect merge of three typical local buildings, their sinuous lines and white colours harmonically set into this crossroad between man and landscape. Measuring over 500 sqm, including 235 sqm of interiors, this estate surprises us with its unexpected corners and complex architecture, with spacious relaxation areas offering enchanting views. Outside, panoramic terraces on the edge of the cliff represent the maximum expression of exclusivity and sophistication, thanks to a touch of style offered by Dolce&Gabbana’s furniture accessories. Time seems to have stopped in Stromboli, in this frame of authentic, respectful dialogue with the wildest nature. _ Stromboli _ 235 m2 of internal surface _ 290 m2 of external surface _ Panoramic terraces _ Direct access to the sea _ 1 km from heliport REF | 4765 _____ Sull’incontaminata isola di Stromboli, in Sicilia, è in vendita la straordinaria villa di Domenico Dolce e Stefano Gabbana La residenza, che segue l'andamento della costa come un’onda, è protesa su di uno sperone di roccia a picco sul mare. The furnished seven-bedroom (each in a different color), nine-bathroom property features panoramic terraces which overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea. The dwelling, reachable by boat or helicopter, is “born from the fusion of three typical Aeolian dwellings and follows the trend of the jagged coast of volcanic rocks,” as the (translated) listing by Lionard Luxury Real Estate notes.

According to the brokers, Dolce and Gabbana have spent their summers at the villa dating back to the 1990s and hosted “memorable parties [with] international stars.” As well, Colin Ferrell shot a D&G perfume ad at the property a few years back. You might know the island of Stromboli from the 1950 Ingrid Bergman film Stromboli: Land of God.
