Wanna Split a Helicopter Ride?

‘Tis the season to give and share.

Celebrating that spirit: SkyShare, a just-launched service that’s basically UberPool for helicopter rides, now serving Chicago and beyond.

Brought to you by private charter service ExoLux and Vertiport, a local heli courier with a convenient base just south of Downtown, SkyShare is all about making chopper rides a realistic option for the hoi polloi.

Idea is simple. Say you’re looking for a weekend jaunt to Madison, Wisconsin (and you should be). Once you find a flight, SkyShare makes it easy to find someone who wants to split the fare.

Travel radius? Two hundred miles, give or take.

Max occupancy? Five. The more seats filled, the cheaper the ride.

Time to spread your wings.
