If you’ve got a good memory, you may just recognize it from the Christopher Nolan space epic Interstellar, where it actually plays a pretty big role. The Murph is a “faithful recreation” of the watch in the movie and includes subtle nods to it, like Morse code on the seconds hand that translates to “Eureka.” But even if you don’t care for Nolan or the film, this is just a slam-dunk of a field watch.
