The VVIP Dreamliner B787 Dreamjet is so swanky that its nickname is “the flying penthouse.”

Considering what it offers passengers, that monicker is well earned.

The Dreamjet is a former Boeing 787 Dreamliner that originally carried up to 335 passengers. Kestrel Aviation Management has since remodeled it into a 40-passenger private jet that might as well be called a hotel with wings.

The jet’s interior, designed by Pierrejean Design, has high domed ceilings and hardwood floors, and even sculptured hardwood doors. Onboard amenities include an entertainment and study lounge, an ensuite master bedroom with a 42-inch TV, and a full-size bathroom complete with shower. There is also dedicated dining and closet space.

The aircraft’s dedication to passenger comfort doesn’t stop there, either. The Dreamjet’s optimized air filtration and low cabin noise, vibration, and altitude work together to decrease passenger fatigue while onboard.

Currently, the £230 million ($299 million) Dreamjet is parked at the London airport as a display piece for Deer Jet bespoke travel sets. It can be chartered for £20,000 ($26,000) an hour.
