This New Beast of a Motorcycle Honors Hunter S. Thompson
No guts, no Gonzo.
Happy Birthday, Hunter S. Thompson.
May you rest in peace knowing this custom speed demon bears your famous cry, “Faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death” right there on the gas cap.
You were in your teens when you were infected by the intoxicating vibrations, the feel of the wind hitting your face, the smell of exhaust and the “Pop-pop!” of pipes. You palled around with the Hell’s Angels and you turned a 250-word assignment into 2500-word psychotropic rant that changed journalism and the security protocols at Vegas’s Circus Circus forever — or so I hear.
Created by Death Machine’s of London, this wonderous machine is dubbed the “Up Yours Copper.” And despite your fondness for the Vincent Black Shadow, I think you’d agree, it’s up to snuff. The beast, a 2007 injected Triumph Thruxton, was slashed, factory-welded, wired, plated, powder-coated, etched and shined.
It rumbles. It snarls. It’s a masterful creature of contradiction, raw and regal, tough and refined.
