No Three Wheels Should Have All This Power

The phrase “Nascar-inspired” isn’t one that always inspires purchase intent.

Read: beer-dispensing headgear, nachos and anything your barber is trying to talk you into.

When it comes to something you keep in the garage, though, it’s usually a good sign.

Enter: the Daytona 500 model of the 2017 Can-Am Spyder F3-S, featuring a three-cylinder engine packing 115 ponies and 96 pound-feet of torque mated to a six-speed transmission.

The three-wheeler — which also has Brembo brakes, gas-charged front shocks, dynamic power steering, cruise control and an ABS — is also equipped with “Sport” mode, aka drifting mode.

“Turn on the Sport Mode and feel your adrenaline surge as you tame twisting roads or perform controlled rear tire spins, all while maintaining your balance and peace of mind,” Can-Am says.

In addition to that, the Daytona F3-S comes with race-inspired colors and graphics, a special spoiler and grille, and even a drag bar that’s been customized to let riders drift like Tokyo’s finest.

With a starting price of just  $22,250, the Daytona F3-S edition is priced — and built — to move.
