How to Remove Every Last Trace of Subtlety From a Land Rover
Involves a Corvette engine, alligator leather
After-market car modification is very much a “what have you done for me lately” kind of business. Every new project you take on needs to be somehow better, more attractive or more unique than your last.
And with their latest build, the Orlando-based rogues at East Coast Defender have truly achieved that. Sure, they’ve blown our hair back before with their custom Land Rover reincarnations, but … just look at this thing:
Huntress (5 images)
By name the Huntress, this Land Rover Defender 130 is so much more than what meets the eye. Under the hood it’s packing a 430 horsepower LS3 Corvette engine, while the interior has been dressed with locally sourced alligator hides (it is Florida after, all). Other bells and whistles include a Puma dashboard with classic instrument clusters, integrated wifi, Apple Car Play and a custom Morel speaker system.
Beauty and brawn. That makes for an all-terrain head turner if there ever was one.
