Unless you’re chummy with Richard Branson, Red Bull co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz or the late venture capitalist Tom Perkins, you’ve likely never been in a personal sub from DeepFlight.

Those men are among a select group who’ve been fortunate enough to own and use DeepFlight models, most prominently the Dragon. But thanks to a new partnership, that’s soon to change.

DeepFlight is teaming up with Rainbowfish Ocean Technology to begin offering guests at resorts in Hawaii, the Maldives, French Polynesia and the Caribbean the opportunity to take the all-new Super Falcon 3S for a dive. Featuring a trio of air-conditioned cockpits and a form-fitted-composite body, the 25-foot-long Super Falcon 3S can descend to depths of up to 400 feet and stay underwater for eight hours.

Though the team has yet to pick its first underwater tourism site, they’ve already identified at least “700 five-star seaside resorts around the world” that could serve their purposes, and hope to have the Super Falcon 3S operating at a “resort outpost” by 2017, according to Robb Report.

“Teaming up with Rainbowfish will enable us to achieve our mutual goal of unlocking the oceans for human access,” said DeepFlight CEO Adam Wright. “We will be able to give individuals a level of exposure to the underwater realm that they may not otherwise be able to attain.”

If you don’t want to wait, contact DeepFlight for sales info, but be prepared to pay seven figures.
