Stephen Colbert Sings ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Farewell to the Mooch

Goodbye, Anthony Scaramucci, we hardly knew ye.

A solemn Stephen Colbert took to the studio stage Monday night to make one thing clear: no one took the surprise firing of White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci harder than the CBS host.

“I come to you tonight a broken man,” Colbert told his audience. “Because just this afternoon I was shocked by this breaking ‘nooch.’”

The comedian celebrated Scaramucci’s appointment to the role just last week by singing “Bohemian Rhapsody” and highlighting the “Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the fandango?” lyrics. Last night, he reprised the same song, with a much more somber tone. Take a look.
