While Joe Biden remained mum about whether or not he’s planning to run for president in 2020, the former vice president did reveal on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show that he hopes that Trump’s presidency will go down in history as an outlier.

“What do you think has changed about the presidency?” Colbert asked Biden, alluding to President Trump’s conduct and behavior. “How will this influence future presidencies?”

“I think, God willing, it will go down as the single exception in American history,” Biden said. “I really mean in it…. I mean, I just think there’s an attack on a system. And I think people are worried.”
