“I know death. He’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.”

Those words, spoken by Arya Stark, lead off the official trailer for the final season of Game of Thrones.

What exactly she is referring to is unclear, but it does provide a hint of what to expect in the eighth season of HBO’s Emmy-winning show.

Also present in the trailer: Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, her dragons, Cersei, Sansa Stark and Jaime Lannister.

The most interesting of these is Lannister, who seems to confirm he will join with the North to fight the White Walkers. “I promised to fight for the living, I intend to keep that promise,” he says.

That fight is believed to be a battle scene which will last for an entire episode and is thought to be the longest consecutive action sequence in film history.

Here’s the trailer. GoT premieres on April 14.
