Stephen Colbert Has Cartoonish Take on Donald Trump’s Tweeting Habits
'Late Show' hosts gets animated in mocking Trump's 'travel ban' tweets.
Stephen Colbert, the host of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, mocked President Donald Trump’s inability to stop tweeting on Tuesday, especially about his executive order on immigration.
“His frequency for tweeting, even for him, has become cartoonish,” said Colbert on the show.
To hammer home the play on words, the late night host then brought on a cartoon Trump to answer some questions.
Colbert is mainly referencing Trump’s stream of tweets about the “travel ban”. Republicans have avoided calling it a travel ban since the executive order is heading to the Supreme Court soon, but Trump took to Twitter on June 6 to call it just that.
That’s right, we need a TRAVEL BAN for certain DANGEROUS countries, not some politically correct term that won’t help us protect our people!
