Woozy market conditions aside, the best personal investment you can make is still travel.

As for what to bring with you on a life-changing experience?

These: beautiful leather wallets, journals and accessories inspired by the world’s greatest cities and parks, via Tactile Craftworks.

Based in Milwaukee and founded by Sarah Kirkham and Anna Warren, Tactile’s wares are handcrafted and handtooled in a Milwaukee studio and made to order. Their goal? Creating items that are “substantial, durable, fine and handsome.”

Mission accomplished.

New this season: Passport wallets with antique maps of global cities (say, a 1903 rendering of Brooklyn’s borders) etched on beautiful leather covers.

Plus, refillable veg-tanned journals, travel-inspired mugs and flasks, and an entire series of goods inspired by our National Parks.

Almost every item retails for under $100, though the handmade methods mean it’ll take a few weeks to ship.

More time to map out your next adventure.
