More than just a sartorial smash, Rothy’s x Evian is an ace in the sustainability department; the collection is specifically designed using the 72,000 Evian water bottles collected from last year’s tournament. “The goal [of the collection] was to give the plastic bottles a purposeful and design-forward second life,” the brand said, highlighting Rothy’s low waste, circular-focused manufacturing method, involving a knit-to-shape process utilizing recycled, plastic-based thread.
Designed in LEED- and TRUE- certified factories — ones operating with green building practices and achieving zero waste — each piece uses a number of recycled Evian water bottles in its construction, ranging from a sleek Visor (4) to the chic Duffle Bag (54), a nod toward the labels collection’s pursuit of a more sustainable future.
