Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: a singularly cool Montblanc and A Bathing Ape collab, the comfiest and most colorful Air Maxes ever, and a mystery Scotch that takes a word puzzle to crack.

Leatherman T-Series Free Collection Multitool

Leatherman T-Series

The multitool originators are in the middle of their biggest product launch since they changed the entire EDC game in 1983: the FREE collection, featuring proprietary, never-before-seen magnetic architecture. We thoroughly reviewed the P-Series (pliers-based, 19-21 tool beasts), but the just released T-Series offers up much more manageable tools that’ll actually fit in your pocket. There’s the one-sided T2 and two-sided T4, both with all the common-sense tools a regular gent needs (package openers, screwdrivers, etc.) plus a solid 420HC blade. The best part? All can be deployed with just one hand.

Montblanc x BAPE Collection

Luxury brand Montblanc has teamed up with Japanese streetwear fashion brand A Bathing Ape to give us a collection of Saffiano printed leather business bags and accessories. The collection features a slim document case, a medium Portfolio, a pen pouch and a matching wallet, all in ABA’s signature green camo pattern. Shame no one will be able to see it when you’re traipsing through the woods doing camo-y stuff.

Tracksmith The Charles Sunglasses

Retro athletic brand Tracksmith collaborated with eyewear dons Article One to bring us a pair of trendy sunglasses that’ll stay on our faces while we do things like “work out” and “go for runs” and “better ourselves with physical exercise” or whatever.

The Glenlivet Enigma

A “mystery” Scotch that arrives in a sleek black bottle with no tasting notes or cask information. Your goal? Solve challenging word puzzles online to digitally unlock tasting cues — and get a free shipping code via ReserveBar so you can order more whisky.

Air Max 270 React Bauhaus

Nike’s first lifestyle Air Max, now with some super soft cushion from Nike React foam. But even more importantly, the shoe pays homage to Bauhaus, the German design school which celebrates its centennial this year, and why these shoes look like a kindergartener designed them.

Timex X Nigel Cabourn Referee Watch

Nigel Cabourn is paying homage to the footballing (soccer) greats with a reference to referee stopwatches of the 1950s. The result: a vintage-looking piece with red color blocking signifying halftime (45 minutes of a match), along with two interchangeable straps: a slip-thru style featuring the football colors of ‘claret and blue’ and the other a classic black leather.

Nike Air Zoom Freak 1

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature basketball sneaker is debuting Saturday, June 29th alongside a full apparel line. The anticipation for the MVP’s first shoe has been high, so expect these to go fast, especially because the design is much more than hype. It takes after Kobe’s signature line, one of Antetokounmpo’s favorites, but features upgrades all his own like double-stacked cushioning, multidirectional traction and a padded collar to lock in the heel.

N64 Nintendo HDMI Adapter Super 64

Nintendo 64 HDMI Adapter

Why would you ever buy one these rebooted classic video-game consoles when you’ve got a perfectly good N64 sitting at home? Because you can’t hook that hunk of plastic up to your smart TV, that’s why. But someone finally solved the problem. EON is in the business of plug-and-play HDMI adapters and just announced one for the N64. It doesn’t ship until July 22nd, but get your order in now before the word gets out and you’ll be playing classic Super Smash and GoldenEye in a month’s time.

The Headphone Stand

Grovemade designed this headphone stand so you don’t have to compromise your impeccable taste in design while trying to hang your headphones somewhere. Made from solid hardwood, this stand looks good with or without your cans.

Vault By Vans X Frida Kahlo

Vault by Vans is honoring iconic artist Frida Kahlo by putting her face on their shoes. The collection includes three classic Vans styles: an OG Sk8-Hi LX featuring Frida’s self-portrait, an OG Authentic LX with all-over watermelon print, and an OG Slip-On LX featuring Kahlo’s 1940 painting, Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird. Every artist’s dream.
