Kelly Slater and GQ alum John Moore’s company Outerknown had some trouble keeping their Eastbank Crew sweater in stock (or at least in reasonable sizes) for the past month or so. Which make sense: Highly coveted duds plus holiday season makes for some low inventory.

But now, the sweater’s very much back, and we suggest you get on it before everyone else does.

What makes it so special? I picked one up in early December and have worn it out an embarassing number of times in the weeks since. It’s warm without being too form-fitting, and it layers like a champ; I had it on for Christmas dinner, and I’m sure come summer I’ll wear it to a bonfire on the beach. In line with Outerknown’s sustainable clothing crusade, the sweater pairs extrafine merino wool with organic cotton, which doesn’t use pesticides and requires less water to grow. Choose from two colors below and get out there.
