Everyone has that one go-to jacket that they love: it could be brand new, or maybe you’ve had it for 30 years. The North Face understands this, and they’re vying to for that spot in your closet. Their most recent campaign, “More Than A Jacket,” enlists the help of cult figures and the everyman alike to create a massive, first-of-its-kind digital archive of well-loved and storied TNF gear. In partnership with SFMOMA, “More Than A Jacket” will be brought to life in Fall 2022 via a series of participatory programs that chronicle historic North Face designs alongside everyday explorer submissions.

The North Face

As part of said fall campaign, The North Face have highlighted LA-based rock queens Haim as hallmark arbiters of their pillar Nuptse Jacket. The band consists of sisters Danielle, Este and Alana, all of whom express their love for the classic style from The North Face, and expound on its versatility on tour or in the studio in an earnest filmed short. Likewise, the companion shoot, seen above, is further confirmation that the jackets look sick, and Haim are dope as hell.

You can shamelessly rip off Haim’s style and snag a three-season appropriate 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket from The North Face — we know we’re certainly going to.
