Sorry, Chicago Bulls fans. Dwyane Wade will be but a distant memory come next season. The NBA star guard reached an agreement Sunday on a buyout, per the Chicago Tribune. Wade was quoted as saying, “I just felt it was time for me, turning 36, that I want to be competing for a championship.”

Bleacher Report rounded up a number of rumors about where Wade might be headed.

As ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted, Wade’s main suitors include the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James is a friend and was rumored to be trying to recruit him as early as last month. Wojnarowski went as far to call the Cavs the “clear frontrunner” for Wade. He noted additional interest from the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma Thunder, who just landed former New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.

The other key team, besides the Cavs in the pool, is Wade’s former team the Miami Heat, with whom Wade won a trio of NBA championships. An Associated Press source said the team “absolutely” had interest in bringing him back.
