This Is the SF to LA Exchange Program

We need a few good ambassadors.

We share a state with Los Angeles, but we may as well be worlds apart.

Their car worship. Their suntans. Their thing where they have at least one actor at every brunch table.

It’s all so … foreign.

And so, to help you understand our southern brethren better, we’re proud to introduce the SF to LA Foreign Exchange Program — a giveaway in partnership with Daily Secret and THE THING Quarterly in which we’re sending one intrepid couple down to LA on a private jet.

Enter now.

In other words, you could be the Nixon to L.A.’s China.

The purpose of this diplomatic mission: to attend a launch party for our friends at THE THING Quarterly — a “periodical in the form of an object” — where artist Brian Roettinger will be in attendance.

He’s the guy who designed Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail album cover.

The launch goes down January 30th on the rooftop of Ace Hotel Downtown LA, which, by the way, will be your digs for the weekend.

And you and a date will be ferried round-trip on Surf Air, California’s premier chartered jet service.

Also included: access to the LA Art Book Fair and a one-year subscription to THE THING Quarterly.

In summary: romantic getaway; private jet; we’re paying.

Good luck, ambassador.
