We Hereby Crown This the Jacket of the Season

It's the bomb(er).

S.F. is a jacket-wearin’ kind of town.

We don’t mean those cumbersome Canada Goose jobs; save those for points north (and east, where they chill easily).

Our needs are more nuanced.

And they are all well met by this super-luxe bomber, which we’ll happily crown the jacket of the season. (We know; we’ve said it before … And before … But there are four seasons in the Bay and all require jackets.)

Here’s why this one is special.

The best bomber jackets nod to their military heritage and transmute it into something trim, fit and modern: a fighting form, if you will.

Aether’s Ion, a gentle update, reworks it for the Bay Area lifestyle, with a layer of 800-fill power goose down for insulation. The rib knit at the collar and cuffs keeps precipitation out. And the interior pocket (with “audio valve”) means gear is safe but easy to use.

Which means this is the perfect jacket to keep you warm, dry and hooked up.

Which means it’s the perfect jacket for basically every weekend day.

Not to be overlooked: it is a seriously stylish piece. Because performance fleece at drinks just doesn’t work.

Winter may be coming.

But with this jacket, you’ll hardly notice.
