Office Meeting Bingo Is Here to Make Your Office Meetings Less Terrible
1) Print a stack of these. 2) Hand them out. 3) Profit.
If I had a dollar for every meeting that could’ve been an email, I wouldn’t be writing this right now.
I’d probably be on a boat in the South Pacific. My boat. That I bought with said dollars. Because I’d be super freaking rich.
According to one source, the average employee spends 31 hours a month attending “unproductive meetings.” At a company of 30 people — like InsideHook — that amounts to more than 11,000 hours of lost productivity each year.
It’s not the lack of productivity I hate most about meetings, though. It’s their utter predictability. From the jargon (“But will it scale?”) to the guy who paces to the totally foreseeable but somehow incorrigible videoconferencing issues, your average weekly meeting is a Groundhog’s Day-esque exercise in monotony.
But we’ve got a solution.
No, it’s not canceling the meeting. Rather, it’s turning the meeting into a game. Of Bingo. That we’ve attached below for your perusal (here’s a printable version).
