Go Ballistic

You’ve heard of the bulletproof briefcase.

You’ve marveled at the bulletproof Popemobile.

But now, direct your covetous gaze toward bulletproof … shoes?

Yep: introducing Over All Master Cloth, shoes crafted from, among other things, Kevlar.

Yes, the stuff bulletproof vests are made of.

O.A.M.C.’s gear is the brainchild of Luke Meier, the former head designer of streetwear royalty Supreme.

He’s since crafted a pair of handsome oxfords in collab with famed French shoe house Atelier Heschung.

And to reveal the shoes’ ballistic bona fides, he shot them with an M4 machine gun. In ultra-slow-mo. Have a look.

The verdict? The Radial Lows ultimately succumb to the assault rifle’s firepower. That being said, they stand up to the abuse a helluva lot better than your Ferragamos would.

With a streamlined silhouette and accents of black leather, these kicks’ll play nice with dark denim and suit trouser alike — and add a dose of badass to either.

So go ahead. Go ballistic.
