Groom With a View

When a man gets a good cut, he’ll follow his barber anywhere.

Yes, even to a garage. And the Internet, too.

Opening shop in both locations, and just in time for the holidays: Barber & Supply, from the team behind New York’s famous F.S.C. Barber.

B&S’s brand-new tonsorial lodge is a refurbished garage in the heart of Williamsburg, where pro scissormen church you up from the neck north.

On location: a roll-up mechanical door.

Also: several gleaming, ’60s-style Belmont barber chairs set amid piney custom woodwork.

And of course, you can get treatments that run the gamut from cuts to beard trims to straight razor shaves, along with their signature revitalizing “hangover treatment” — a traditional barber’s facial featuring hot eucalyptus towels, hydrating essential oils, and a reviving face mask.

And because the Internet is closer than Williamsburg (at least from where we’re sitting), they’ve also put B&S online – stocking everything from ivory razor and brush sets to spearmint- and rosemary-scented face balms to lesser-known indie colognes, as well as homewares and handsome accessories.

No wonder they’ve got such a following.
