Michelle Obama Among Friends to Recreate Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ Look For Her Birthday

Alright ladies, let’s get in formation. To honor the Queen Bey’s birthday on Sept. 4, Beyonce’s friends and family, including former First Lady Michelle Obama, decided to follow the Queen’s instructions and recreate Beyonce’s iconic look.

Seventeen total people posed for the black-and-white photographs, all wearing the famous off-the-shoulder black top, wide brimmed black hat, and two long braids seen in the “Formation” video from Lemonade, writes Mashable

Besides Obama, Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy made an appearance, along with Serena Williams, and former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Plus, Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles and mother-in-law Gloria Carter both joined in.

You can see all the photos on the website. Besides the photos, Mashable explains there is also a link to support Houston relief efforts after the devastaion caused by Hurriance Harvey. Beyonce started BeyGOOD Houston and partnered with Bread of Life, Greater Houston Community Foundation, and Texas Southern University to raise funds to help with the relief efforts, according to Mashable.
