Johnny Depp Crashes Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean Ride

Johnny Depp unexpectedly paid tribute to the inspiration for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow by, in character, greeting passengers on Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

The clever marketing stunt has since gone viral.

Depp has now played Sparrow in five films, with the latest Pirates installment Dead Men Tell No Tales premiering on May 26.
