Prince Harry is an outfit repeater, bless his heart. For the royal’s highly anticipated sitdown with wife Meghan Markle and the Oprah Winfrey, Harry donned what appears to be the same suit he wore in May of 2019 while introducing his son Archie to the world. Even more surprising than the decision to wear the same suit for two highly public appearances is the fact that the suit isn’t some $3,000 designer creation but rather a J.Crew design from the brand’s Ludlow line, clocking in at a very reasonable $650 in total.
Was the suit was deliberately chosen in an attempt to appear more relatable and distance the prince from the grandeur of the monarchy, or is it just reflective of the couple’s newfound quaint California lifestyle? We’ll never know, but there’s no denying that it’s a handsome number and that Harry’s got taste. Currently both the Ludlow Slim-Fit Suit Jacket and Suit Pant are available in a range of sizes on J.Crew’s site, and in Harry’s preferred shade of Geyser Grey.
While you might not have any TV appearances in the works, you’re still bound to get plenty of wear out of the suit, whether you wear the pieces as separates with other items in your wardrobe or go the princely route and throw on a crisp white dress shirt underneath — a great option for when you want to get a little dressed up without going fully formal.
