Mr. Porter’s First Menswear Line Plays Nothing but the Classics

The new collection is basic. But it's certainly not 'basic.'

If there’s anyone who knows menswear in 2017, it’s Mr. Porter.

With its smart mix of sharply curated menswear brands and shoppable editorial, the online retailer has been a destination for fashion-savvy gents around the globe since 2010. And while the site has certainly done its part in keeping men dapper over the years, it has always stopped short at offering its own goods. That all changes today with the launch of Mr. P — Mr. Porter’s first ever in-house clothing label.

Combining industry experience and customer insight, Mr. Porter’s first collection is essentially Menswear 101: a starter kit for the handsome man’s closet. The line comprises staples every dude should own, from no-frills oxfords to cable-knit sweaters. Here are five of our favorite pieces.
