Winter is winding down which means two things: 1) Nordstrom is currently throwing their Winter Sale where you can take up to 60% off tons of menswear (as well as accessories, home goods, etc.) through February 27, and 2) it’s almost waxed-jacket season.
Thanks to a bit of seasonal serendipity, these two events have converged to offer you huge discounts on waxed jackets just in time for you to swap them in for your parkas. During Nordstrom’s sale, you can take between 25% and 40% off a variety of Barbour styles, including simple zip-ups made for the city as well as the rugged, functional, pocket-packed layers that the British icon is known for.
The biggest discounts are on the Fawden Waxed Jacket ($180 off), a navy layer with four exterior flap pockets and the signature corduroy collar. Also at 40% off you’ll find the West Waxed Jacket, a more pared down option with just two chest pockets that offers Barbour’s signature durability without making you look like you just stepped off the moor. Same goes for the Vital and the Brockel, both of which are 25% off.
However, if you are here for that timeless Barbour look, you’ll want the Sapper Waxed Jacket ($106 off) or the Alpha Waxed Jacket ($115 off), both of which will leave you all but immune to the elements — and changing style trends.
