Don’t Break the Bank on Shorts and Polos

There is an epidemic in the city.

Men are regularly paying close to $200 for shorts without batting an eyelash.

That’s as much as a nice pair of pants. We’re talking literally half the fabric for the same price.

We have good news for the man who believes you don’t get rich giving your money away:

DSTLD sells very stylish shorts for nearly 60% less than retail thanks to a direct-to-consumer business model.

If you’re unfamiliar with DSTLD, they made their name in this town doing raw denim jeans at cost. And now they have two styles of shorts — hand-sanded chinos and twill cigarette shorts (think a more attractive jort) — in darker hues that cost just $45. They’d retail for $180 elsewhere.

The cut is just above the knee, with enough fabric for a cuff if you’re a fellow of average height.

In addition, DSTLD also has some soft and light Pique Polos that fit snug in the shoulder, land just below the belt and are available in dark, slimming washes. And they’re pre-shrunk.

Bring it on, spring.
