The Daily Show host Trevor Noah tore into Fox News on Wednesday night for brazen hypocrisy, after the network immediately politicized Tuesday’s terror attack by a Muslim man in New York City, but failed to do the same in the aftermath of a white man shooting nearly 600 people in the Las Vegas massacre.
“I don’t think ‘politicize’ needs to be a dirty word,” Noah said. “I think tragedies like what happened in Vegas and New York City should be politicized…because politics is how society works to solve problems.
“Why don’t we have the conversation about immigration and about guns at the same time?” he continued. “I think America is resilient enough to handle it.”
