In addition to widespread allegations of sexual harassment waged against media mogul Harvey Weinstein — including from A-list actresses Gwenyth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie — a bombshell report from the New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow details additional accounts of actresses who say that Weinstein did more than sexually harass them; he forcibly groped and raped them.

One allegation comes from Asia Argento, an Italian film actress and director who told Farrow that Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her in 1997. Argento recounted that the assault occurred when she was 21; after twice winning the Italian equivalent of an Oscar, she was invited to a party at a hotel on the French Riviera.

When she showed up, she said, there was no one in the room except Weinstein. He proceeded to ask her for a massage, which she said she reluctantly agreed to. Then, she alleges, he forced her legs apart and pulled up her skirt, and forcibly performed oral sex on her.

Weinstein “terrified me, and he was so big,” Argento reportedly told Farrow. “It wouldn’t stop. It was a nightmare.”

Argento told Farrow that the only way she thought she could get it to stop was by feigning enjoyment — something that’s caused her guilt for years.

“I was not willing,” Argento said of the sexual interaction “I said, ‘No, no, no.’ . . . It’s twisted. A big fat man wanting to eat you. It’s a scary fairy tale.”
