While the demand for desktop computers is undeniably falling, demand for computer desks could be starting to rise.

Or should we say stand?

The DK-04 is a motorized standing desk with an open-source chassis that is designed to accommodate all the components —  processor, hard drive, RAM, graphics and sound cards, HD inputs, fans, USB ports — of an ultra high-end and fully customized PC.

Perfect for: the corner office. Your dream computer build. The ultimate supercharged hub for the Oculus Rift.

Designed by Hong Kong’s Lian Li, the literal computer desk has space to accommodate monitors, “extensive water cooling support” and can be configured to automatically adjust to one of four height settings with the push of a button.

The desk, priced at $1,499, drops May 10th. ‘Til then, head on over to Lian Li for more out-of-the-box builds.
