Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: A pocket-sized powerhouse from WESN, Dior’s special sneakers, and Bellroy’s lightest bags yet.

Dior

Dior B30 Sneakers

Dior, like any good brand, understands the value of show, don’t tell. Take their new B30 sneaker. Why tell you about the flagship style’s technical fabric, low-key iconography and sporty design, when they know that you’ll already be hooked after one glance? Handmade in Italy, these just-released kicks are some of the hottest of the season.

Bellroy

Bellroy Lite

Lightweight and packable day packs, duffels, totes and slings made from a diamond ripstop fabric — it’s crafted from 100% recycled PET plastic bottles — that’s “three times lighter” than the brand’s other materials.

El Tesoro

El Tesoro Mundial Collection: The Laphroaig Edition

One of our favorite tequilas teamed up with Islay-based Scotch to create a flavorful tequila that has just the right hint of smoke … but a smoke that’s far different than a mezcal. It’s part of what will be an annual series of interesting maturations for El Tesoro.

Corridor

Corridor Variegated Cord Pleated Trouser

We have yet to see NYC-based Corridor make a misstep, and this sure-footed, pleated addition to their Fall/Winter offerings keeps that streak alive. Crafted in India from soft, supple corduroy, the pants are tab-closured, dressy and just a little roomy — all the trappings of a perfect trouser in our book. Luxe up your fall wardrobe with these bad boys.

Rumpl

Rumpl x Hygge & West Collection

Rumpl’s beloved puffy blankets can be found in a variety of designs, often as a result of collaboration with artists and illustrators. The latest partnership adopts two limited-edition prints from wallpaper and home decor powerhouse Hygge & West that equip the Original Puffy Blanket with a bird-and-cloud arrangement. Designed by Brooklyn-based illustrator Julia Rothman, the pattern that was once exclusively used as a wallpaper print has since made its way into more consumer-friendly options, including these two cozy throws for a limited time.

Pangaia

Pangaia Nettle Denim

You most likely know eco-conscious clothing brand Pangaia for its sweats, done up in organic and recycled cotton and whimsical colors like rosemary green, or its variety of intriguing materials, like outerwear insulation made partly from wildflowers. This week, they released something a little more classic, a little more mainstream, but no less innovative: denim, made from a mix of wild Himalayan nettle and organic cotton, and seeking to be a better alternative to our current dirty denim industry. For men, they’ve got unisex straight-leg jeans and a slick denim jacket, both available in two washes.

Zero Halliburton

Zero Halliburton Small Leather Accessories

One of our favorite luggage brands has released a new collection of small leather accessories, in a range of styles and colors, and just in time for the holidays. Handcrafted by acclaimed artisans in Spain and constructed from a soft (like, very soft) pebble-grain calf leather, these babies are sleek and easily stowed inside the front pocket of an overcoat or blazer. If you guessed that we’re already coveting a new Zero Halliburton wallet for Christmas? Well, then you’d be correct.

Flint and Tinder

Flint and Tinder Wool-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket

Made in the USA, three colorways are available of this waxed and weather-resistant layer, which is fully lined with recycled Japanese wool blanket cloth. Your winter just got very, very cozy.

Bowmore

Bowmore “No Corners to Hide” Scotch

This Islay single malt collaborated with Scottish comic book artist Frank Quitely (New X-Men, The Authority) on these two bespoke releases, which feature artwork associated with Islay’s colorful history. Both the 23- and 32-year old expressions, which are global travel exclusives, are aged in ex-bourbon barrels before spending a final two years in Essencia barriques, a rare “Rose Oak” dating back to the 1830s.

Mongoose

Mongoose Classics

Mongoose is back. The bike company has official hopped on the ’80s revival train with the announcement of two rereleases of classic Mongoose BMXers: the Supergoose and the California Special. The collection drops soon, which means you don’t have much time to schedule that perm and track down that old Billy Joel cassette.

Alison Roman

Alison Roman Recipe Collection Merch

Life is full of simple pleasures: a surprise reunion here, a home-cooked meal there, and of course, merch from one of our favorite chef-lebrities. The Recipes Collection sold out quickly, but that doesn’t stop us from admiring the Shallot Pasta crewneck and The Cookies long-sleeve. Keep an eye out for that restock!

Oakspire

New Belgium Oakspire Bourbon Barrel Ale

An annual bourbon barrel beer release from New Belgium since 2018, this release marks the first year the Fort Collins brewery has collaborated with Four Roses. The result, at 9% ABV, features a “custom-built, proprietary infusion method to pull the flavors from the bourbon-steeped charred oak and marries it with a malty-sweet, deep amber ale.”

Bonobos

Bonobos Stretch Washed Chino 2.0

The latest pants from these masters of the ideal fit feature a non-iron, four-way stretch cotton and a secure zip pocket. Available in seven colors (along with multiple sizes and three pant fits), these office chinos are also wrinkle-resistant and moisture-wicking.

Aether

Aether Rex Jacket

Aether’s recently released fall collection has a number of intriguing pieces for the man who spends equal time in the middle of the city and the middle of nowhere, from a corduroy down jacket to 800-fill pants with a drawcord waistband. But we particularly like the Rex Jacket, a cold-weather layer that looks absolutely nothing like your current winter jacket, in the best way possible. You could go for the black or green colors, but as we’ve noted before, bright colors are your friend in the dark days of winter, and the Midas Orange available here is no different.

WESN

WESN MT Multitool

How many more multitools do you really need? At least one more: the new MT from WESN. The brand is calling it the “Swiss Army Knife of the 21st century,” which is a little much, but we like this little loop anyways. Just under three inches in length, the titanium MT functions as a bottle opener, flathead screwdriver/scraper and pry bar. Everything you need, nothing you don’t, and it looks good to boot.

Teva

Teva x Cotopaxi Collaboration

Two of our favorite brands have partnered up once again to release an exclusive run of eco-minded cold-weather gear. The latest drop between Teva and Cotopaxi features the ReEmber hybrid slip-on and Hooded Cálido Jacket, both of which embrace recycled materials and mountain-inspired designs. Throw on the slippers to discover aprés comfort when camping and store essentials in one of the reversible jacket’s many pockets.

vVardis

vVardis Whitening Collection Oral Care Set

Offering premium quality and wrapped in a chic little package, the vVardis oral care collection is set to revolutionize your dental hygiene routine. With patented biomimetic technology straight from Switzerland, this whitening set will strengthen, repair and protect your teeth in every way. The strong aesthetics of the kit don’t hurt, either.
