Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: A winning bet basketball from the film “Uncut Gems,” lots of “Year of the Rat” gear and sunglasses designed by the Velvet Underground.

Uncut Gems Winning Bet Ball

A24 is selling a collectible basketball commemorating Howard’s (Adam Sandler) *spoiler* winning parlay bet on Game 7 of the 2012 Eastern Conference semifinals between the Celtics and the 76ers. If you’re a superfan of Uncut Gems or just enjoy really expensive basketballs, this might be up your alley.

ACG Air Terra Antarktik

Nike created possibly the ultimate winter sneaker — the ACG Air Terra Antarktik. The shoe features a Gore-Tex upper to keep all those gross wintry elements out, as well as a sticky rubber outsole for solid traction, so feet stay warm, dry and on the ground. Plus, they just look dope.

Rag & Bone Lunar New Year Capsule Collection

We’ll admit, pizza rat — in meme years — is about a century old. But we’re coming up on the Year of the Rat in the Chinese calendar, so brands are reviving the lil’ slice-crazed rodent, with varying degrees of success. Rag & Bone has our favorite collection by far, which runs the gamut from hand-embroidered sweaters to our new go-to white tee. “Is that a rat on your shirt?” Hell yeah it is.

Thursday Boot Co. Limited Edition Captain

The Captain from Thursday is one of our favorite no-frills boots. These Captains, on the other hand, are all about frills. We’re talking eye-catching 18-karat gold eyelets, intricate brogue detailing and ultra-luxe materials like hand-finished full-grain leather and Italian shell cordovan. If you’re looking to up your boot game, these three styles make it easy.

Leatherman Limited-Edition Charge+ Damascus

If anything falls under the category of nobody knows what it means, but it’s provocative, it’s Damascus steel. The layering technique, which creates trippy, wave-like patterns, is centuries old, which means you can’t trust all modern knife slingers to do it right. You can however trust Leatherman. The company just released two limited-edition versions of their Charge multitool (a favorite of their founder, Tim Leatherman) that feature Damascus steel from Nevada’s Vegas Forge, as well as other premium materials like carbon fiber or walnut-finished wood handles. How limited? Only 300 of each were made.

White Light By Jacques Marie Mage x The Velvet Underground

Sunglass brand Jacques Marie Mage and rock icons from The Velvet Underground have collaborated on the special edition “White Light.” The glasses are named after the band’s second album, while the frames are modeled after founding member John Cale’s personal ones.

TAG Heuer Carrera 160 Years Silver Limited Edition

The Carrera is one of TAG Heuer’s most famous models, and the name has graced all manner of racing-inspired timepieces over the last 50-odd years. But it all started with the 2447S (a silver Carrera) and 2447N (a black Carrera), the former of which is particularly valuable among watch aficionados. To celebrate the brand’s 160th anniversary, TAG Heuer is reissuing the coveted watch, with a few modern upgrades, naturally. Only 1,860 will be made, so be sure to sign up for updates now.

Noah x Vans Sk8-Hi Decon

Two of our fave brands, American-retailer Noah NYC and classic skateboarding shoe manufacturer Vans, are no strangers to collaborations and are back at it with an exclusive pair of 100% suede leather shoes in two bold colors.

Cashball Puffer Vest

100% water-resistant nylon puffer vest is made with Cashball recycled cashmere fill. What’s Cashball you ask? Well, it has the feel of cashmere — but it’s eco-friendly and cruelty-free. The fill is mainly made from pre-consumer waste but maintains all those breathable and warm properties of cashmere.

New Balance M577YOR “Year of the Rat”

Incase you missed it above — it’s the year of the rat. And New Balance is also getting in on the rat action (ew) with a rat pack (get it?) of sneakers. After unveiling the M1500 “Year of the Rat” shoe, NB just released the M577 that features a blue/mauve color palette with a splash of pink to represent the pink hairless areas of a rat that you now can’t stop thinking about. Happy Lunar New Year!
