Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: a line of iced lattes with classic Hostess dessert flavors, onyx leather sandals and a Shinola Harbor Monster watch.

Filson x Helinox Outdoor Collection

Whether you’ve got bonafide camping plans, backyard camping plans or just need a better social-distanced park setup, Filson and Helinox’s new collaboration has the gear for you. The collection includes packable camp chairs, hard-top tables and a cot, all of which use Helinox’s time-tested fabrication but add some much-appreciated Filson touches, from the breathable fabric in coyote tan or shrub camp to the higher-backed chairs for ultimate relaxation.

Hostess Desserts Iced Lattes

Ding Dongs. Twinkies. Snoballs. Honey Buns. There’s a sex party joke in there, but what we’re looking is a line of iced lattes with classic Hostess dessert flavors. Are they good? Unknown. Will we try them with alcohol? All signs point to yes.

Ankari Floruss Slide Sandal

We recently opined re: the staying power of the Adidas Adilette Slide as a go-to footwear choice for kicking around the house, and we stand by that. However, we also know that there are those out there looking for something equally comfy but a tad more understated/elegant. Enter this onyx leather number from Ankari Floruss, crafted from full-grain cowhide and featuring a cozy contoured footbed for all-day wear. We’re not saying you should ever pair slides with a tuxedo, but in the event you had to, this would be your best choice. Bonus: they’re currently on sale.

Aime Leon Dore Spring / Summer ’20 Leather Goods

The time has come to retire that battered and overstuffed wallet you’ve been carrying around for God knows how many years and treat yourself to some sophisticated leather goods, like the current offerings from Aimé Leon Dore. The brand’s S/S 20 leather goods collection includes a larger zip wallet (for all that cash you’re constantly lugging around) and an easily accessible neck wallet for when your load is a little lighter and you want to go hands free. Also included in the collection are other handy items like keychains and coin pouches, all offered in black, navy, olive green or tan, and embossed with the brand’s name in gold cursive.

Gogoro Eeyo 1

An aerodynamic, carbon-fiber e-bike that’s easy to ride, carry and store, with the battery, motor and sensors compressed into a compact “Smartwheel.”  At 27 lbs., it’s not “lightweight” but it’s certainly something you can cart around when needed (and that’s about 60% of the usual e-bike weight).

Forty Five Supima Crew Tee

Inspired by the 45 RPM record that helped bring revolutionary music and artists to the masses, the recently released Supima Crew Tee from Huckberry’s new in-house brand Forty Five embodies that same essence — a classic, quality-made tee built to last. The tee is crafted from premium, 100% USA-grown, incredibly soft Supima cotton that’s made to outlast all your other basic T-shirts. The simple design allows for everyday wear just about anywhere, making it a real versatile piece, ideal for layering or sporting on its own.

Nike X Cactus Jack Air Max 270 Cactus Trails

These Travis Scott x Nike Sneakers aren’t just dope as hell, but maybe the wisest investment you can make right now. They feature materials as unconventional as polar fleece around the ankle and have the air and feel of a ’90s hiking shoe, due in large part to the grooved midsole, overwhelmingly tan and neutral colorway, and retro-blue lace lock. Even if they’re not your particular taste, buy them now and admire them for a few weeks (or months or years) then sell them for 15 to 20 times the price to some desperate hypebeast. Or, keep them for yourself as a collector’s item of sorts. Dare we say — you could even wear them if you so pleased.

Shinola Harbor Monster Watch

Whether or not you’re a fan of Shinola watches on the whole, you’ve got to admit that their Monster Collection is some of their best work to date. The Harbor Monster is the most recent addition to the line, using the red lighthouses of Lake Michigan as inspiration for a cardinal enamel dial and midnight blue bezel on an otherwise classically styled automatic workhorse.

Beovision Harmony 88-Inch 8K OLED TV

Bang & Olufsen is equally concerned with aesthetics and performance, as evidenced by the Beovision Harmony TV they released last year that’s as much an art piece as a streaming center. But if 4K OLED wasn’t enough for you, they’ve added a bigger, better option: an 88-inch (over seven feet!) 8K OLED TV, the first of its kind and the largest OLED ever made by LG. Yes, it will cost you.
