Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: shower curtains that impede mold growth, a watch to celebrate our favorite holiday and a movie prop auction for COVID-19 relief

Everlane Organic Cotton Tees

Everlane’s iconic Cotton Crew tee has officially gone #organic. The collection of tees still have those clean lines and classic crew neck style we love from the original, but now are made with midweight, durable, certified organic cotton that will only get softer over time. The Global Organic Textile Standard certification takes over a year to get, taking into account every step of production from the processing of certified organic fiber into yarn, to the dyehouses, mills, factories and printers, so you know this is something the brand takes seriously.

Teva Original Universal in 90S Multi

Teva’s iconic sandals have stood the test of time — supplying durable comfort for those hiking through the Grand Canyon, walking miles around Disney World, or manning the grill at summer BBQs, since 1984. And now you can sport the OG outdoor sandal in a dope, 90s-inspired colorway. The Teva Original Universal sandals feature vegan construction, quick-drying Unifi straps made from 100% recycled plastic with easy hook-and-loop closures that come off quickly and adjust seamlessly, and is finished with a robust EVA footbed for extra comfort as well as a durable rubber outsole for traction. At just $50, they’re an easy, affordable way for you to stunt on all the other neighborhood dads this summer.

Burrow Shelves

Furniture brand Burrow has introduced shelving to their current offerings of home goods, and they’re the ideal one-stop solution to any disarray or disorganization that may be plaguing your home. The wall shelves are a part of what the brand has deemed the Index shelving system, a modular design that allows you to add or subtract units, depending on the vastness of your book collection. Just like Burrow’s seating and tables, the solid ash shelves (available in Walnut, Oak or White) adhere to the same minimal, sleek design aesthetic, and make assembling a breeze.

The Hemingway in Walnut Double Cloth

How many men’s garments have been named after Hemingway? We’re partial to the ones he actually wore, but we’ll make an exception for this new organic cotton layer from Taylor Stitch that you can wear untucked without looking like a slob and will come in handy during the second half of summer when it’s expected to ship out.

Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto Watch

Watch fans will know Hamilton’s Khaki Field model as a brand staple, but here the Swiss maker has upgraded the style from the classic mechanical movement to an automatic with an 80-hour power reserve, as well as with a light-but-mighty titanium case, available in black PVD with a leather strap, black PVD with rubber or silver with leather. Those who don’t recognize the name can simply think of this as a military-inspired daily wear, hold the cheese.

Levi’s x New Balance

As it turns out, not only does Levi’s make a damn good pair of jeans but a damn good pair of sneakers, too, evidenced by their collaboration with New Balance for a pair of limited edition 1300s. The sneakers take the classic silhouette of the 1300s (which celebrates is 35th anniversary this year) and adorns it with quintessential Levi’s accents, including a hairy suede upper in caramel and, perhaps the most impressive addition, White Oak’s Cone Mills White Oak XX52 denim (the same kind used to make Levi’s 501 jeans) as upper accents. The White Oak Cone Mills factory shuttered in 2017, so the inclusion of their highly sought after denim makes the shoes all the more special — hence why they’re all but sold out. But if you feel you absolutely cannot bear to live without a pair, you can try your hand at finding your size on StockX. Granted, you’ll be paying more than the original price, but they’re well worth shelling out a few extra bucks.

A24 Attic Auction

It’s no secret (or surprise) that independent film production company A24 has amassed a cult following. Now the company, which has been responsible for films such as Midsommar and Uncut Gems, are providing their fanbase with the opportunity to own set pieces and props from some of their most popular films through their own auction platform. If you’ve ever wanted your own diamond-encrusted Furby like Adam Sandler’s in Uncut Gems, or thought an embroidered heirloom doormat a la Hereditary would make a nice addition to your home, you can throw your bid into the ring and potentially walk away with a piece of film history. All proceeds from the auctions will go towards aiding organizations and workers bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 crisis in New York, such as NYC Health + Hospitals and FDNY Foundation.

Supreme x My Bloody Valentine

In a collaboration we never saw coming but are not complaining about, My Bloody Valentine have licensed their album art to Supreme for a new clothing collection. The iconic British shoegaze band’s album artwork is adorned on a trucker jacket, Rayon shirt, a hoodie and two T-shirts … and we want all of it.

Altuzarra x Etsy Home Collection

Etsy has long been a haven for those seeking uniquely crafted and independently made home goods and in a time that’s proven to be unpredictable for independent sellers, it’s imperative to support them. Luxury designer Joseph Altuzarra recognizes this need and has teamed up with eight different Etsy shops for a limited-edition collection of home decor. And now that you find yourself relegated to your home, there’s no more opportune time to indulge in some sprucing up. The collection includes everything from tie-dye pillows (and matching notebooks) to handwoven baskets and even one of the chicest dog beds we’ve ever seen. So go ahead and upgrade your space and sustainably support small businesses while you’re at it.

Brooklinen Shower Curtain Set

Brooklinen is getting into the shower curtain game. Our favorite sheet brand has created a lightweight Cotton Percale Curtain with a classic matte finish and a PEVA Curtain Liner that’s waterproof, recyclable, biodegradable and specifically designed to impede mold and mildew growth. Which really makes you think about how lazy your current shower curtain is.

Shinola Twenty After Four Detrola Watch

It’s named “Twenty After Four.” It costs $420. Only 420 will be made. The dial has a leaf print. It was announced on 4/20 at 4:20 pm ET on Instagram by Woody Harrelson. A subtle timepiece, this is not. But it’s certainly for a good cause; in partnership with Common, Shinola will be donating all proceeds from this limited release to the Anti-Recidivism Coalition and Cabrini Green Legal Aide charities.

The Rambler Elements Collection

We are totally digging the gritty, earthy tones in YETI’s latest Rambler color collection — the Elements Collection. Drawing inspiration from Mother Nature’s own metals and elements, the Elements Collection includes the assortment of YETI’s insulated tumblers, bottles and mugs crafted with the highest level of UV resistance, layered with a finger print-resistant coating and currently offered in a brushed Graphite or Copper finish.
