Each week, our inbox runneth over with news of gear, apparel and tech releases from around the world. In this feature, we’ll parse through the best of them. Today: A Venezuelan rum cocktail kit, a Space Hippie Converse shoe and MLB YETI drinkware and coolers.

Levi’s x Peanuts 2020 Summer Collection

Levi’s has teamed up with ‘Peanuts’ for yet again, this time with a collection that captures the youthful, playful spirit summer often inspires. The collection features a range of tees, sweatshirts, hoodies and more, often featuring the iconic Snoopy and Woodstock participating in a range of physical activities, from diving to basketball. The unisex pieces are a nod to retro athleisure, the pieces made nostalgic with primary colors and sports jersey like accents. It’s the perfect collection for those who prefer the aesthetic appeal of athletics rather than actually participating in them. Shop the collection August 4.

The Inlet by Oru

The creators of the portable “origami” kayak just put up their latest model for pre-order, and it’s their first watercraft under $1000. Only 20 lbs, the foldable Inlet is designed for use in calm waters … a place we can all agree we need to spend more time in during the summer of 2020.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Crater

If you wanted to scoop up a pair of Nike’s highly anticipated, uber-sustainable Space Hippie sneakers you are … way too late. You really need to set a reminder on your phone for drops like that. Lucky for you, Converse is getting in one the action by applying the Space Hippie aesthetic to its Chuck Taylors. The Crater will feature 40 percent recycled materials and hits the Converse website on July 23.

A24 x Braindead

A24 has gained a reputation as everyone’s favorite indie production company, thanks to their enviable and highly sought-after merch. Now the production company is showing just how cool they are by collaborating with streetwear brand Brain Dead. Each of the pieces from the collaboration combines the brands’ logos, the ‘A24’ placed within the signature Brain Dead silhouette of a head. In addition to the melding of the two logos, each of the shirts available feature larger graphics of “productions.” It’s a collection that’s sure to appeal to film snobs, hypebeasts and everyone in between, as evidenced by the fact that it’s all nearly sold out.

Therabody

TheraOne

The company that makes our favorite percussive therapy device, Theragun, has recently rebranded to Therabody and has just released a range of CBD products to aid in muscle therapy treatment. The line, called TheraOne, features reprieve oils and lotions made with ingredients like eucalyptus, Shea butter and menthol. The range of USDA Certified Organic products include the Activate CBD Lotion and Recover CBD Lotion, which you can apply pre- and post-workout to ease sores and tension while simultaneously nourishing the skin. Or use the potent Revive CBD Body Balm (Jar or Stick) to warm and ease the stiff and sore areas that need it the most. The line also includes a restorative sleep tincture and soothing massage oil.

SB Dunk Low Pro x Grateful Dead

As beloved as their music is, the Grateful Dead’s true legacy might be the huge number of important cultural artifacts they’ve spawned — Cherry Garcia, the 1992 Lithuanian men’s Olympic Basketball Team, and now the fuzziest Nike sneakers that money can buy. Inspired by the band’s famous dancing bear, these Grateful Dead SB Dunk Lows don’t hide their influence. The sneaker’s upper is covered in faux fur; the Swoosh has a perforated edge, like the bear’s collar; the bear’s logo even graces the tongue. All three of the shoe’s colorways retail for $110 and will be released over the next 10 days. On July 18th, you’ll be able to buy the orange ones on the FTC website; on July 24th, the yellows will hit the SNKRS app while the greens will only be available in select skate shops.

Liteboxer

Liteboxer

Liteboxer, the machine unofficially known as the Peloton for boxing, gives users the opportunity to get an engaging, full-body boxing workout from world-renowned trainers in the confines of their own homes. The hard-hitting, incredibly-durable machine uses revolutionary “Rythem Technology” and an advanced LED lighting system that syncs to the beat of your music and indicates where you should punch, while force strikers keep track of stats like striking power and accuracy. The adjustable 37.5″ x 55.5″ machine is designed to fit in any space and can be broken down for storage. And while the Liteboxer will still cost you a pretty penny, it’s cheaper than a Peloton. For $1,495, you’ll get the machine, a pair of Liteboxer gloves and a free three-month membership. After that, the membership will cost you $29/mo.

IWC Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph Edition “Orlebar Brown”

IWC Schaffhausen has partnered with the swim and resort wear aficionados at Orlebar Brown on a multifaceted collection, but the standout is this new take on the Swiss watchmaker’s classic Portugieser. It’s worthy of the “yacht” moniker clocking in at 44.6mm in diameter, but instead of packing subdials on like many sport watches tend to do, this collab offers a lot of functionality in a refreshingly clean style, with slight red accents balancing out the blue and white color scheme.

Booker’s Bourbon

Part of Jim Beam’s Small Batch Collection, Booker’s Bourbon is bottled straight from the barrel. This rare, unfiltered Bourbon contains notes of oak tannin, smoky vanilla, mocha and coffee. Best enjoyed neat.

Opening Ceremony x Teva

Opening Ceremony and Teva are celebrating the launch of their fourth collaboration. Inspired by urban explorers, the collection mashes Teva’s utilitarian heritage with Opening Ceremony’s unique designs to deliver a line of unisex shoes featuring the edgy Hurricane XLT2 Gladiator, a lightweight Hurricane Sock and a rainbow-colored Flatform Universal with a statement silhouette.

Remmy Unisex Retro Round Sunglasses

If you need a reliable pair of retro-inspired frames, RAEN’s got you with their latest release of the Remmy. The super-lightweight frames are available in two sizes — a larger 52 for a more oversized look and the 49 that’s perfect for a refined fit.

UA Range Unlimited

Since Steph Curry’s out of the playoffs this year, he’s taking a golf break. Partnering with Under Armour, the NBA all-star’s new line of golf-friendly pants, shirts, shoes and shorts doesn’t get a full release until August, but a few items are out now (with polos being the highlight). Everything here is designed to be colorful, breathable and flexible — ideal for any sport.

Huckberry x Chaco “River Camo” Z/1 Sandal

Chacos are a divisive shoe, but even if you’ve found yourself skeptical of the outdoor sandals, allow these exclusive Huckberry x Chaco “River Camo” Z/1 Sandal to change your mind for good. The custom design features camo patterned straps in a navy, grey and beige colorway with even subtle hints of lilac, perfect for both functional and purely stylish wear. The silhouette remains the same and features all the beloved Chaco aspects, from the “LUVSEAT,” which will provide support and comfort no matter how long you wear them, to the non-marking ChacoGrip rubber outsole, which makes them ideal for outdoor activity. If you’re going to become a Chaco convert, there’s no better place to start than with this pair.

MAMMUT Delta X Collection

With their Delta X collection, Swiss outdoor retailer MAMMUT is combining geometric-dynamic design with a natural fit tailored to the body. The result? A collection of highly-technical yet free-moving pieces built for everyday wear.

Santa Teresa 1796 La Trova Old Fashioned Cocktail Kit

Tales of the Cocktail’s American Bartender of the Year Julio Cabrera oversaw this cocktail kit, which lets you make a number of Venezuelan rum Old Fashioneds with a coffee infusion because that sounds absolutely perfect. Eight drinks for $48, and all the proceeds benefit the USBG Bartender Emergency Assistance Program. It’s almost like you have to drink this.

Zoom for Home DTEN ME

If you thought Zoom was going to stay in its lane after being plucked from relative obscurity to become the video communication platform of choice in the COVID-19 era, you were just proven wrong. The company has teamed up with DTEN to build what is essentially a plug-and-play tablet that is designed to make using Zoom as easy as possible. It’s got three wide-angle cameras, a multi-touch display and is expected to ship in the U.S. in August. Why would anyone need a Zoom-specific device? Well, how many Zoom mishaps have you personally witnessed in the last four months? Yeah, that’s why.
