Book ‘Em, Danno

In the great Minesweeper game of life, chores are the tiles that go boom.

Dispatch them with ease, with MyTime — the just-launched app (which just snagged a $1 million app innovation prize) that lets you book an appointment from your phone with more than two million businesses.

Talkin’ haircuts, dental cleanings, carpet-scrubbing, massages, auto repair, boot camp and more. Each category can be filtered by distance, rating and price.

Once you find a vendor, peruse the listing for photos, service info and reviews (pulled in from Yelp), plus check out app-only deals. The booking itself takes a few clicks, and works similarly to foodie apps like Delivery or Seamless.

For businesses not yet directly affiliated with MyTime, you can use the app’s army of personal assistants. Select a few desired appointment times, and the MT concierges will do the calling, booking and confirmation for you.

And that, to use some old rotary slang, is on their dime.

Now back to Minesweeper.
