Kind of a Big Deal: November 14th
Today in deals: Camp stoves, fall layers, early Black Friday
Welcome to Kind of a Big Deal, a daily roundup of great sales on the brands and items you love (tech, shoes, style, travel, etc.), as well as great new products. Please note: Deals are subject to change at the whim of the merchants mentioned.
eBay Better Black Friday
It’s a hodgepodge of tech, home, travel and style options during this pre-Black Friday sale, which promises “pricing at or below competitors’ Black Friday print ads.” They actually point out which e-commerce they’re besting with each item, such as a Samsung 32” HDTV ($179, beating Target), Seiko Men’s Solar Black Watch ($80, which is 40% off and beating Kohls) and Ninja Coffee Bar ($83, or 58% and also beating Target).
BioLite CampStove 2 Midnight
You can grill, boil and cook pretty much anything with this smokeless wood-fired stove, which is fueled by sticks, pine cones and pellets. Bonus: It’ll also charge your phone, plus it lights up at night and the whole thing weighs less than five pounds. Now available in an extremely limited edition “midnight” colorway that will probably sell out today or tomorrow. A bundle of the stove plus grill and KettlePot attachments saves you $40.
Nau Utility Down Shirt Jacket
A good-looking down layer that utilizes recycled insulation and features four snap pockets. Part of the outdoor performance apparel brand’s new fall lineup — and, like most items on Huckberry, it’s 11% off during an extended Singles Day sale.
Sales of note:
- Anker Nebula Prizm: A bare-bones version of Anker’s popular multimedia projector is currently down to just $100 (from $130).
- Gap: It’s actually 40% off at three stores (Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy) with the code STYLE, with an extra 10% off at Gap with the code BEST.
- Patagonia: Take up to 50% off past-season products on these web-only specials.
