Earlier this week when we wrote about the ginormous winter sale happening over at Filson (which, FYI, is currently still happening) we didn’t mention their timeless leather and twill duffels, because those classic travel bags weren’t included in the discounts.
We did however sleuth out one place where a Filson duffel is 40% off — and that’d be Mr Porter. The menswear shop is currently throwing a similarly stacked sale to start the new year, with huge discounts on Filson watches, double- and single-breasted wool coats, among other things. But the carrying option is our favorite deal of the bunch.
While not expressly listed, it is the medium size, measuring about a foot tall and 20 inches across, making it ideal for overhead bins (whenever we use those again) or just tossing in your car for road trips. And it’s done up with all the signature trimmings, including brass hardware and bridle leather handles and tabs. It’s only on sale in navy, but that’s the color we would have chosen anyway.
