Three U.S Open parties

Excellent service:

Fundamental to good tennis.

Also fundamental to good tennis parties.

You’ll find it at the 16th Annual Taste of Tennis, a series of star-studded parties hosted by NYC’s top toques on the eve of the US Open, tickets on sale now.

Where else can venerable fans rub shoulders with Grand Slam royalty like the Bryan brothers and Williams sisters alongside Ditch Plains kingpin Marc Murphy?

Things kick off Wednesday, August 26th with the Celebrity Chef Tennis Challenge, where the city’s premier galley-minders (Grand Banks’ Kerry Heffernan, FP Patisserie’s Francois Payard, Meatball Shop’s Daniel Holzman) will take the court to show off their racquet skills.

Thursday: the headline event, which kicks off two weeks of tennis tantrums with fare from 25 of NYC’s culinary masters, free-flowing signature cocktails, solid tunes and a guestlist whose past attendees have included Rafa Nadal and Serena.

The final farm-to-tennis affair is Party with The Pros on August 29th. Guests will meet players like Victoria Azarenka, Sloane Stephens and John Isner while noshing hors d’oeuvres by Langham Place New York Chef David Vandenabeele.

Game. Set. Match.
