September 27, 2018 9:00 am

To keep tabs on every New York restaurant and bar opening is folly. But to keep tabs on the most worthy? Yeoman’s work, and we’re proud to do it. Thus we present Table Stakes, a monthly rundown of the five (or so) must-know spots that have swung wide their doors in the past thirty (or so). Bon appétit.

10 Corso Como
South Seaport

You’re here for: A long and leisurely work lunch, if you’re lucky. A very fashionable date night, if you’re luckier.
You’re dining on: Scaloppa di Foie Gras followed by an Aperol Spritz and the superior Tiramisu as a closer. Then tour the Italian design haven that surrounds you in all directions (our favorite section is the dedicated sneaker shop).

Bluebird London
Columbus Circle

You’re here for: The kind of work dinner that ends with someone putting their name on a dotted line.
You’re dining on: Modern British cuisine (yes, the Brits have some food worth trying), with hearty hits like a Cornish Chicken Pie or Beef Wellington. We’d most certainly recommend a Brooklyn Burrata with Fig to kick things off.

Randall’s Barbeque
Lower East Side

You’re here for: A man date.
You’re dining on: All the best that a BBQ maven like Jared Male can offer, including Spare Ribs, Buffalo Wings and ever-tender Brisket, accompanied with all the classic sides that the good Lawd intended.

You’re here for: A group get-together with friends you love but never have the time for because of things work, bills, kids, etc.
You’re dining on: Upscale exotic delights inspired by Asian street food. We like the Lemongrass Chicken and Turmeric Tofu.

You’re here for: After-work drinks, first dates or a quick dinner before a big night out.
You’re dining on: Tapas and small bites (5-8 items recommended) from Mexico, Central America and South America as well as tacos by Borrachito (a hidden taqueria located in the back of The Garret East).
