Golf can be an aggravating game. Which is why you need tools that relieve stress. Like golf carts. Or Joslyn James. To relieve the biggest burden — the actual planning of outings and group trips — try GolfTripGenius.com.

Designed by a Wharton grad with a PhD in “Decision Sciences”, Genius slickly organizes small and large golf outings alike with links-friendly highlights like:

Player Organization: Simply register, select a course, and click “Create Trip.” You’re now the captain, and Genius will auto-invite the fellas via email. When players accept, they enter their handicaps.

Perfect Pairings: Genius then sets up your rounds with the “Perfect Pairings” feature, which analyzes your number of rounds and handicaps to create the best matchups. The site’s companion iPhone app allows you to adjust on-the-fly if, say, you can’t stand Ted’s relentless chatter. Shut up, Ted.

Tournament Manager: Easily set up competition play for some friendly action – Genius has options from skins games to Ryder Cups, and generates the kind of detailed leaderboards and shot statistics usually reserved for the pros. Just enter scores via the app and the site does the rest.

Genius also keeps track of all trip logistics (housing, travel plans, etc.), plus expenses like gambling debts. Or hush money.
