But Sony makes other headphones that are much cheaper and still high-end. Witness the Sony WHCH710N, a set of over-ear cans that’ll cost you less than half of what you’d pay if you bought the XM3s.
These wireless ‘phones feature smart noise cancellation that’ll adapt to your environment, 35 hours of listening per charge and comfy oval earpads. They’re missing some bells and whistles like customized sound and extra bass, and they’re not quite as sleek as their XM3 cousins — though they do come in a cool blue colorway. But users on Amazon still give this cheaper headset a solid 4.4/5 rating.
The WHCH710N headphones are currently on sale at Amazon for $128 (down from $200). If you really must get the XM3s, they’re on sale for $278 (down from $350).
