If you want to listen to someone else’s opinion sans the dire health warnings, The Verge gave the second-gen AirPods a rave 8.5/10 score, noting its “excellent wireless performance and reliability.” Plus, that wireless charging case is sneakily important — now that half of my devices don’t require cords to recharge, I’m irked by those that still need a wired connection.
