A New Documentary Proves Bill Murray Is, in Fact, Lurking Everywhere

Think of him like a benign, slightly bemused Slender Man

He’ll show up at your softball game. Behind the counter at your favorite bar. Even to your wedding.

Sounds like a bad horror film villain, but it’s actually … Bill Murray.

The comic actor has a knack for “just arriving in your life for a few minutes” as filmmaker Tommy Avallone discovers in The Bill Murray Stories: Life Lessons Learned from a Mythical Man, a new documentary that uncovers the “tall tales” of Murray’s seemingly random real-life appearances.

“There’s always this one person who you wanna meet but you feel like it’s never going to happen,” as one talking head laments in the doc’s newly-released trailer. “And then this guy shows up at your door.”

Life Lessons will be released in theaters and on VOD on October 26th. We say see it in the theater — good chance Bill will be there.
