If you’re anything like us, your knowledge of women’s underwear ads begins and ends with what you’ve seen in the Victoria’s Secret catalogue.

But long before one monolithic brand began to dictate the (admittedly troubling) aesthetic standards for frilly things  and the women who wear them, the lingerie ad had already become an object of lustful desire for generations of hormonal young men.

Luckily for us, the gang at Flashbak recently uncovered an assortment of vintage print ads that ran in magazines and newspapers in Australia, France, Germany and the U.S. in the ‘60s.
