Imitation, they say, is the sincerest form of flattery.

And as this Washingtonian dad who likes to replicate his daughter’s Instagram has demonstrated, it’s also a great form of trolling.

When his daughter Cassie, an aspiring singer, began posting a string of selfies on her social media accounts, Chris “Burr” Martin began posting his own interpretations of the photos.

“So my daughter has been posting sexy selfies of herself and instead of telling her to stop, well, I thought of something better,” Martin wrote on Instagram.

His dedication to becoming a burr in Cassie’s side is on full display throughout his work, as he dons belly shirts, drawn-on tattoos and even a wreath of leaves to match her aesthetic.

Even though she wrote on Twitter that her dad “harasses [her] on social media,” Cassie seems to have accepted it’s all in good fun.

“My dad is the comedian of the family, so when he started recreating my photos, it was so funny to me,” Cassie told Seventeen.com. “My friends want me to tag them as soon as I post new photos of him imitating me because they love his sense of humor also.”

Please keep embarrassing her in front of her friends, dad.
